They haven't, but if the time ever comes where they have to reject someone and it goes badly, it's going to weigh on their minds for a long time afterwards.

Dalex and Dallie both know that they have the right to say "no" if they're not interested (and they will say no, without any sugarcoating), but if the person in question is someone they care about, the guilt will still set in anyway. Even more so if the rejected party is visibly hurt by the answer (looking shocked/stunned, crying, running away, begging for a chance, etc.). Like I’ve said before, they’re both people pleasers, so disappointing someone and possibly making them cry over a single, two-letter word is not gonna be easy for Dal/Dallie to get over.

Of course, things will run much more smoothly if the rejected party takes it well. Dal/Dallie will still feel a bit guilty that they can't give the other person what they wanted, but as long as it doesn't look like Dal/Dallie just shattered someone's heart completely, then it's alright.
