It's been a while since I last mentioned where all the money from that donation drive has been going, so I figured I'd give you folks a preview of what I've been up to with regard to the game I'm working on. The money has gone largely to sprites (done graciously by Anthony on Furaffinity), since I can't sprite for shitz. This has allowed me to work extra hard on other aspects of the game which I normally would feel too overwhelmed to tinker with.I can't say when the game will be finished. Probably not for a long while, but I hope it'll be worth the wait c:
Minecraft is (c) Mojang. Sprites are (c) Anthony. Pokemon is (c) Nintendo.

Awww... my timing sucks.... a lot...
I saw it yesterday and got really excited to help since I have pretty much nothing to do, except try to finish the game that I'm making. And I want to cry because it's taking forever to make.... and I'm not joking either, I've spent about a year on it and just now realized that I made a lot of mistakes in it and now need to correct them.

There's a link to a demo in one of my old journals, I believe. As for the full game, I'm uploading it in September, when it's finished.

I'm not sure if you mentioned this, but are you making this RPG from scratch, or are using a program, such as RPGMaker? The game looks really cool so far.

I'm using RPG maker VX, so I'm crossing my fingers that it all works in the end. VX is notoriously bad when it comes to exporting your work.

Really now? I'm using VX ACE right now for a project, and exporting is pretty simple. I hope it all goes well for you in the end. Also, it might be different between versions, but exactly did you manage the light-like effects in the one forest screenshot?

I thin VX ACE probably improved on the exporting aspects. Shame I didn't start the game in that program :<
And I just downloaded a semi-transparent picture of sunlight and made the program autorun the picture every time you enter the forest map.
