I don't see why i would run away from such a fluffy and mysterious creature 
I love what you did with the values, creating some darkness with light coming from behind the monster, but at the same time keeping it light enough to be able to show the textures. That's a really good balance, in my opinion !
and that monster's design is awesome, i love the fact it looks quite solid yet doesn't totally frighten me. Idk if that's the feeling you wanted to create, but the eyes seem rather soothing to me, and the horns are the only real thing that could be used as a weapon from what i see. So that might be why i'm not so frightened.
