Description
The M8 was used by the US and UK as a scout vehicle from 1943 to war's end. Its original intent was to serve as a Tank Destroyer but the 37mm gun quickly became very inadequate for that purpose, though in the Pacific Theatre, they were highly effective against Japanese tanks,

Even though it was susceptible to mines, and wasn't very mobile off-road, it got the job done well enough. Note the M20 variant in my Gallery.
