Yes there were, there was Red's immediate family, we haven't gotten to explain it in the comiic yet, but Red is an orphan, his fairy parents died when he was little. And there aren't more fairies around thtat he knows of. But a long time ago, there were fairies and nymphs too about the same number, but fairies gradually dissapeared somehow.
