I've been working on this guy for quite some time now - since September.Now that the sculpt is finished, what should I do for the colour?
I was thinking something light to contrast with the blood and pus, and nothing flashy like a pinto or Appaloosa.

I would say Bay or Chestnut would go well with the theme. And would help not draw too much attention to color & more to detail.

I was thinking that, too - maybe a sandy bay or light bay and a lighter chestnut?
I'm also tossing around the idea of Amber Champagne since it leaves a lot of room to go dark, since some are a grey-ish creame, and others are like a really light chestnut, and they all have black/dark points

The amber champagne sounds cool. When I picture chestnut, I see a dark, scruffy chestnut, lol. But that's just my idea lol

I had a couple suggestions for that on the forum - a light grey with 'black' points
I thought about it, but then Amber Champagne came up and now I'm trying to decide if I should do that haha

EXACTLY WHAT I WAS THINKING! Something yellowy or creamy. Unfortunately there are so many wonderful colours under those tags that it's hard to decide
