I knew she was dead meat when they got to the Joining sequence. Not so much because of boringness as thinking "They're not going to kill off Ogren. I still need a mage. Yep, she's toast."

A character who not only wants to be a Grey Warden but doesn't have any crippling emotional issues that would require you to be a living emotional crutch? Finally, I don't need to wait on her hand and foot even if I'm not trying to get into bed with her.
Granted, a human sword-and-boarder isn't exactly inventive, but if the only way one can be inventive is with race and class, one has bigger problems as a writer than not being able to come up with better stats.
Plus, she had maybe half an hour for you to get to know her.

I liked her, if only because I tarnished her dreams of becoming a Grey Warden by just shrugging and taking everyone and anyone who simply wanted to be a Grey Warden. It woulda been grand if she had lived... having to deal not only with Anders and Oghren, but also Velanna, Nathaniel, and Sigrun. (Woulda been) Good times.

You knew from the start this was going to happen. They just put her in the game so you had a tank to begin with. I just wished they had cut the "the joining is serious stuff you know" crap and just made her a regurlar soldier who leaves your party the normal way after the beginning.
