Nice style xD CouslandxAlistair is a pretty common one but it's really cute I must agree (playing that right now)... but aw, how can you dislike Sten andZevran? xD Zevran has a really interesting background. I can agree that Sten is like a brick wall but it's easy to make him happy if you're kind xP *took me forewer to really 'befriend' Alistair.

You know, after reading this meme, I actually went and made a shield-and-sword specializing Cousland just to see what it would be like. It was actually a lot of fun! (Though VERY different from playing as a damage-oriented city elf, mage or dwarf. @.@ Humans command such RESPECT!)
lol The begging "veterans" and "orphans" in the alienage are pretty funny, but can you really blame them after seeing the conditions they live in? (Though it's a little egragious during a city elf playthrough. It's like, "Guys. It's me, Tabris. I grew up here. I was your neighbor for years. You don't have to lie to me.")

Helmets, helmets helmets. As far as I can remember, the Legion's helmet and armour set looked friggin' badass, so i slapped them on Sten.

You have to kill Loghain with the Warden and say that you'll rule with Alistair, and convince the rest of the people about it. He will always say yes! At the end of the game, it's said that you get married 6 months later.

could be either. I read some stuff online the other night about it and someone said when you have the conversation with orsino and merrideth you have to pick the "I'll be viscount" option. other stuff I read said you need to take the templars side in a number of events. Which I could understand more so then the "I'll be viscount" option. But something in my brain tells me I had that option once. maybe my first or second play through. but I was with the mages both times for the most part. So that would contradict people saying you need to stick to the templars side. I dunno. hard to remember every option Ive had in 3 play throughs XD
Im going to try my best to be a cold hearted templar loving prick in my current play through and see how that goes, as far as getting to be the viscount. Seems slightly pointless truth be told, assuming regardless of weather or not you become viscount, in the end the seeker mentions the fact that your no longer in kirkwall. So I become viscount but am not ruler long? CM$#_) JFK_)!# !:J@F!!!!!! damn it!

Ah I was cold to sten at first, but he later became my favorite... Hes the only npc companion that gains approval if you stick up for yourself and his morals may sound strange at first but they actually make sense if you look at and figure out what he means by it

I don't dislike Sten per se, it's just that his attitude changes so abruptly. From "Grrrr!!!" to "Best friends forevaaah, lol!" in the span of two conversations.
I would have loved Sten if they just fleshed out his conversations a bit more. ^_^

I'm running late and just playing this game for the first time now.
I had the worst luck trying to generate my own character. My first was a dark-skinned, white-haired human warrior but I couldn't even finish the opening scenes as the sight of how much I DIDN'T look like the rest of my familly kept distracting me. So I started over, creating a female human rogue.... only to later realize I had, completely by chance, created a frikkin' clone of Leliana!

It's weird. They give everyone options for Tattoos, but you only ever see Dwarf Casteless and Dalish elves with them in the game.

Well, it did feel kinda weird walking around in my castle all noble and stuff with my respectable family and a huge red KISS tatto on my face, lol.
If i hadn't been so eager to play the game I might have rerolled the character sans tattoo.
But once I'd left my origin it was less noticable how diffrent I looked.

Ya, I made gave my human rogue a tattoo and just figured he was the rebellious son.

I'm not very rebellious in my nature, the whole thing just reminded me of when I was little and I'd played with my dad's army face paint and instead of a cool camo look I was out in public with my entire face covered in vibrant green and poo brown.
