Hello Watcher friends. I haven't drawn anything worth posting lately. But I know that some of you are aware that I also customize action figures, among other things. I thought I would share one of my favorite projects in quite some time; Thor Frog. He's a combination of sculpting, modifying and parts from about a half dozen or so already existing figures.Related content

Did you buy a new Gleek for this, or did you have two?
I've been wondering if Thor will be frogged in the next Thor movie. It would make a good cliff-hanger.

I had two of them. A few months ago, for whatever reason, some ebay sellers had Gleek in quantity, with cheap Buy It Nows. I wound up with two for less than twenty bucks. I never got one when it was first released. I have no idea what, if anything, I'll do with the leftover Gleek pieces.
It would be fun to see stuff like that, and Beta Ray Bill.

Mmmhmm. I actually read those stories years after they were published, as I was a little too young to really appreciate them when they were new. Definitely some of the best of that Marvel era.
I think they've used a Thor Frog in more recent stories. The character may have even been in one of the newer animated series, but I'm not sure if it's actually Thor as a Frog or a mascot or something. I don't keep up with as much of the newer stuff.

There was a pretty darn cool Howard figure included with a Marvel Legends Silver Surfer. I am actually seeing if I can make a Spider-ham. I'm surprised they never made any sort of figural toy of him at all.

They may have. I'm not sure. I don't think there's ever been a figure, though, not even a non articulated PVC figure.
