Aodhan is one of Ayleen's children. When Alice arrives in Heimdall, he is 39 (the mental equivalent of a 13-year-old human). Alice being the first human child he's ever seen, he quickly becomes fascinated with her, and takes on the role of an older brother, despite his father's efforts to keep them separated. When Alice is around 15, Aodhan, who now is the mental equivalent of an 18-year-old human, realises much to his horror that he has fallen in love with her. He attempts to conceal his feelings from Alice even after he has accepted them, since she is scheduled to leave soon. When Alice does notice the change in him, Aodhan assures her that he doesn't want her to feel pressured and urges her to forget about it if it makes her feel better. Alice refuses to speak about her own feelings even after Rína orders him to accompany and protect her (mostly from herself), but their mutual affection is plain to see. It is only when faced with the prospect of potentially never seeing Aodhan again that Alice finally overcomes her hesitation and admits to her feelings. After the war draws to a close, they get married, and have a son, Mithos Aurion.
