I wasn't looking to buy it at first, but came back later to ask if this was, indeed, a real sword and for how much they'd sell it, to which the shopkeeper replied he'd sold it already. He still let me try it out, and I found it was much lighter than feared. I hung around to chat a bit, and a young girl showed up, asking for the sword as well. She left after trying it out, and after a while, the owner and the person who bought the sword showed up. His dad told him he could have sold the sword three times already, and the buyer (a guy) said he wouldn't insist on having it if I wanted it instead. So I wound up buying this lovely thing for € 100,- (the actual price is 399). So I left to raid an ATM and went home with a sword.Related content

It's kinda funny the inscription contains the word "arwen" and that it became Arwen's sword at one point ^^ But I totally agree with you, the movies and books are awesome.

haha yeah, it was a nice touch by the filmmakers/production team to include that. One of countless examples of the care and work put into those films, I'll never tire of seeing them

Heh, I'm surprised you noticed with a picture as bad as this one ^^ My (female) dentist kept telling me that I have beautiful eyes, though I never understood why she would think that, so I asked some friends one day if there was anything special about my eyes, since they seemed pretty ordinary to me.
