Description Some weeks ago I had a shooting with an elf character for some guys who write an article about LARP in their journalist final project. It was so much fun and I really enjoyed testing my new outfit on low temperatures. It works out wunderful!

So this is Calavel, a young Tolkienian Grey Elf, who enjoys sailing and dreams of adventures. Everything was made by me or other LARPers. The sword design is made by myself.

I won the sword two years ago in a design contest where the builder wanted to get some elvish design that is easy to realize and cheap. Mine won and I got a sword for free, but unfortunately the builder decided shortly after to close his shop. My design could have been very prominent throughout the German LARP scene but well, this way I have got a unique for free

Wow man, That's remarkable. That sword sure has a story to tell! Same thing happened to my long bow, only it wasn't a contest and it wasn't free.

Is the sword metal? It looks very broad and heavy but the design is beautiful. As is your circlet!

Thank you

No, the sword is a glass fiber stick with plastic foam around and a latex cover. It's for Role-playing. But it is heavy like a steel one...
