Description The new woodelven robe for my character! It is made of damask, lined with a slightly crashed grey cloth. The inner sleeves are made of a cloth that looks like a bit pleated. I stitched around every ornament which touches the hems with silver thread.
Quite an exhausting work but I love the outcome! The whole garb was an idea out of nothing when I had the cloth in hands.

very beautiful. Are you using a pattern as reference, or just making it with pure skills? (which I don't have yet )

Thank you!
I never have used patterns because they never fitted my awkward measurements and designs I had in mind. It was a learning process with some failures in between

It is very beautiful and suits you well! I am currently working on a elven tunic made of Dupion silk. I wonder how you close your tunic at the front? Is it with hidden buttons, or lacing? Or is it held closed simply by your belt?

No, it has two hooks and eyes, then it is closed in the middle and below the girdle is another hook and eye. I like them because they are so invisible
