This is the last poster design for the upcoming anime convention, Otakuthon! If only I had 2 more weeks before the con, I may have been able to finish 3 other drawings XDDeath Note is one of my fav shounen animes~ Matt was a surprisingly popular character and was so much loved that my friend, ~DanyDiSalvo decided to cosplay him for the convention! I really like this, I think it was a nice idea to use Matt! and the matrix-y background is also really fun and adds a cool touch to the picture :D
As for critiquing, I'd say go for bolder shadows! I'm not 100 % sure but from what I can see you only use one shadow colour for the skin when you could use atleast three to really give more depth and make it more interesting.Try and eyedrop some shadows from other pictures and make your own palette. Also using other colours than just the skin tone but darker will create depth and make it look more realistic (for example purple- or reddish tones). I know that you usually keep shadowing really simple in the manga style but I think it would really work with your style!

My last sentence was referring to how face to face communication is being replaced a lot of the time by electronic communications. I don't mean that it's bad or anything, just pitiable, because for some people their entire romance only exists through such communications... don't worry about it, just a random thought that crossed my mind

I would critique, but I don't have a premium membership. I'm sorry. T ^ T But what I would've pointed out is, the fabric of his shirt and the glove look as if they are colored too...solidly? I don't really know how to explain. But they look more like metal, rather than cloth.
With that out of the way, this piece is okay. I'm pretty jealous of you. I wish I could draw stuff for anime conventions. Oh well. LOL. Have fun there, though~
