Okay this part caught me off guard.I know that Dragon Ball Online was canon, according to Akira, but why are Towa and Mira here?
Not only that, but Trunks don't know them at all.
Is Xenoverse supposed to be a prequel to DBO, or is it meant to be a reboot of DBO? Would that mean the Red Pants Army shows up in this game?
I'm confused as hell here.

They were married in the original DBO. Seeing as it's the same characters, looks, names, and even same motives, I'm saying they're still married.
The only thing I haven't seen though in Xenoverse that was in DBO is their child.

and while I have you, I have another question. I'm playing DBXV on Xbox, but it won't let me make more than one character without deleting the one I have. I don't have Xbox Live, and I haven't completed the main story with my first character, so could that have something to do with it?

Yeah, that's the first thing I noticed and was wondering what was wrong.
Stupid answer, you need to beat story mode with one character before the other slots show up.
I find that kind of stupid in all honesty as I don't everyone want to try out some (or all) characters to get a feel to see which ones they like by deleting over and over.
Beating the story I guess isn't too hard. I can't tell as I only just finished defeating Frieza.
Deleted my Majin to make a Sayian as I could always remake my Majin later down the line.

I started off with a friezan, as I've always wanted to play as a friezan ^_^
well, I'm almost done with the story mode, so that shouldn't be too hard...I just need to beat the god of destruction first...

I went the same route as on DBO.
I wanted to make a Sayian the first time the game was announced until I saw a female Majin (that and there's no Sayians in DBO) so I made my Majin 1st in this game lol.
But then seeing as I can finally make a Sayian that's female *Glares at Ultimate Tenkaichi* I deleted her to make my new character lol.
I'm not sure how far I am in story as I just finished off Cell. I doubt it's ending at Buu.

yeah, it doesn't end with Buu, as my earlier mention of Beerus makes clear XD. BTW, get ready for that fight. Finish every parallel quest at least up until level five before facing Beerus and Whis. YOU WILL NEED EVERY LEVEL BOOST THAT GRIND GIVES YOU!!!!

Oh yeah, trust me with that one lol.
While I was unable to play the last 3 days (I got up to Boo so I can get Sayian 2 in the store as I couldn't deal with Gohan not giving it to me), the reason my progress been a bit slow when I play is I've been playing every parallel quest trying to get a few things and trying to Z rank most of them lol.
So hopefully Beerus won't be too much of a problem.
