Really? It's a happy surprise to know people out of China also shares this feeling!  May I ask which version was it? There are 5 versions of LM canon Chinese translation as I recall and they sometimes look like completely different novels

It's 李玉民译本. I bought hard cover version at a large book store in Beijing! I'm glad people at the forum say the version I bought is great XD  To be honest my Chinese was not very good at that time, so I chose the one just popped up in front of me. My Chinese is still so miserable that I haven't finished it yet, but still I know 李玉民译本 is gorgeous through comparing with other language versions I have

Other languages? That's remarkable! I wish I can master several languages like you( or draw like you) one day! I enjoyed 李玉民's work too. Tho some people find his overuse of classical Chinese not very appropriate. I think it's just a minor drawback.
