This lovely dark elf belongs to !Commissioned work to fulfill my art promise from the Social Experiment trade.
I had to use some creative liberties with this picture as the original didn't show ears or the back of her hair, so I hope that came out okay! Had an interesting time with anatomy here. I know it's not perfect, but it's a learning experience since this is a different style of character than I usually draw.
I liked the pose of the original piece so much that I borrowed from it. Hope you like!

Well, I haven't offered a whole lot of commissions public yet on DA, these were trade commissions and a special situation (I don't usually do things like this). When I do a paid commission, it is completed step by step, with proofs sent for approval through email. I only post the final work on DA if I had approval from the buyer, as I'd see the art being their property, once paid for.

Only way to get better is to draw more of what you feel needs more work.

Well, eventually I'll have to paint some of Syn's dark elves in Wayrift. She has a whole bunch of awesome characters -- I really like her take on Dark Elves.
