It feels like each of the Pokémon has a very different personality, which is nice to see. Gloom used Poison Powder, it is so effective it knocks out two Pokémon. XD (Plus I want to take that Shroomish home with me. It's too cute.)

I'm so hyped for Sun and Moon, especially this new switchup from the usual "fight 8 gyms and also the elite for and also the champion lol you win" formula!
Also this picture is so flippin' cute AHHHH <333 Those Hoppip are so adorable, and that Ivysaur is cute, and call me self-centered but obviously I love the Grotle because it reminds me of Seamus <3
Everything about this is awesome!

Sun and Moon isn't exactly picking up hype for me, but this picture is simply adorable! Love the poses of all the difficult Pokemon! <3

You know what, I used to think like that, and in many respects I still do. I mean, the new Pokemon trainer designs had my expectations pretty freaking low, I simply passed off this game as another X/Y,Ruby/Sapphire clone trying to tug onto fan's nostalgic love for the franchise.
When I saw some of the early Pokemon designs (like the starters, that Mongoose pokemon, that freak pink teddybear pedo and some of the new grass flower pokemon) my interest hit at an all new low.
But over time, I saw some of the newer Pokemon (like that ghost Pokemon in a cheap Pikachu costume, the bird that has a different dance for each type, and the donkey pokemon) I got interested a bit. Especially in the way how they are animated (again, that dancing bird Pokemon).
The tribal ritual change is inviting, and it's a nice departure from the typical 'challenge all the gym leaders and the League' formula.
But the thing that surprisingly got me interested is the Alola forms of old Pokemon. Seeing previous Pokemon that you know and love get revampled in a completely different image and typing has me thinking of the the crazy scenarios and battles these type variants will cause.
Image you're walking down Route whatever and a trainer challenges you to a battle. He/she has a Vulpix and you're like "Alright, awesome. Let me get my Ground type Pokemon ready.", and then you find fight out that it's actually Alola form Vulpix (ice type), and you're like "Aww, s**t."
But what would get me totally excited if the old platforming "get from point A to point B" mechanic got totally reworked. Like you ACTALLY have to climb up rugged mountains, and you ACTUALLY have to swim up a river. And things in the open field can ACTUALLY have a few negative impacts on you.
That's my point of view anyway.
Thanks a bundle though! Yeah, that Grotle was the hardest for me... ^^ Which looks like the toughest to you tho?
