lol I guess it's lack of practice... who draws trees and plants on a daily basis? Not many. So of course it's gonna take a bit more time than anything else.
I noticed one thing though when I had a look at the lineart: the shadow on her eyes is a bit too dark and it makes her look a bit manly. The lineart is way more feminine than your work. Lol unless that was exactly you intention, in this case, nevermind.

Yeah, an exotic hunter could never have white eyes, it would kill the whole mood of fierceness, that's what I like about the pic, it's detail is believable.
