I am good.Like seriously, I know I'm not one of those inspirational artists. But I whiped this out for no reason in 15 min tops.
And look at it! Look at him!
Is it wrong to think your own OC is shmexy? Mmmmm.
Lol. I really stepped out of my boundries when I skethed this out. I wasn't really trying at first but I liked the turnout.
If you havn't figured it out this is D.J
I've never drawn this much of him before. I dont think I've ever drawn this much body before!
This is kind of a work in progress, cause I might do more with it later... much later. I mean I seriously just sketched this thing out. Art barf, you could say. And if anyone finds this to be mature content worthy (besides Abby/Abbi/Abbie) then please tell me and I'll fix it.

[Edit] Cropped this out quiet a bit because my art has gotten much better and I'm actually kind of embarrassed at how feminine his hips looked. I still really liked his face though, so this remains.

Okay, so a few years later, I really want to thank you for this again. When I first read your critique I was a little shocked and felt kinda bad. But it really struck me. I took your advice to heart, and I've been working really hard on male anatomy, including guys who are girly, like D.J. I think because of your constructive criticism I've become more aware of what males are supposed to look like. It's actually hard for me to look at this drawing still, but I keep it to remind me how far I've come. So again, thank you. You've really helped me in my art, and that's one of the main reasons I'm here on DA.

Yeah, about D.J, he really is quiet the feminine character, and I wanted to portray his physic as such. Its kind of my style, you could say. I'm thinking of sketching similar pics like this with some of my other guys, so I'd like to see if I get it closer with the ones that are more manly, cause I am new to drawing male anatomy.
Lol, I guess so much bod wasn't the only thing naughty about this. Way to call me out on that one.
But as a fast drawing, I think I'm justified in the cropping.

Might look feminine, but I actually see its a guy so never mind.
His chest might look a bit flat though. The rest of the anatomy is fine for me. There are good attempts in working on the drapery. I think it would have been nice to add lines of the walls around to create a room. But its a rougher/faster work so...

Haha this is a fun little piece, the POV of it makes you feel like you're the one who actually just walked in on him naked. You did a particularly good job the sheets and the shading =] I quite like the colour you chose aswell =]

Haha, I like the blurry-eyed look and simple effectiveness of this. Minor point but, perhaps the lines on the bed could be better a bit thicker so they'd go better with your character.

I get what you're saying about the lines. I've always had an art style that makes the background more subtle then the people in it. I dont know why, but I just do.
I guess I focus a lot on the people in the pic and the background (which I'm not very good at anyway) comes in second, if at all.

hands! feet! oh no, where'd they go! lol 
I'm not too sure how to correct him, but the arm and shoulder are connected by ball-and-socket, where here they're connected more or less on a hinge. particularly on the right-hand side. this is an extremely easy fix if you use a ball-and-line model, where you use circles as all the joints and connect them together with lines that mimic 'bones'. Other than this, nice lines, but perhaps his waist is a little girly

I like this! I quite like the sketchy sort of feel you've got going on here, in particular the way he's more drawn out than the sheets are, which are more sketchy.
`kourinthellama does have a few points to make about anatomy though. Boys tend to be more straight up-and-down than girls. My boyfriend is quite slim so as his hip bones stick out he is wider at the hips than just above them however the difference is that girls taper all the way up to the bottom of the ribcage (which is what you have here), whereas with guys they might have wider hips but then they are straight (until the chest/ribs when they go out). Just thought I'd mention it as it's a bit different to what `kourinthellama was saying about stereotypical butch guy shapes.
From the bellybutton down I would say he is extremely good and pretty good all over the rest of him too. I particularly like his arms, legs, tummy/hips. Good work.
And yes, he is quite sexy!

Aw, wow, thanks for the advice! That's really helpful. I'm still not excellent and drawing men, so gay men are even harder for me. Gaah! But I know what you mean on the "straightness" of their bodies, and I'll definatly try to work on that while still keeping my art style. This was just a quick meant-to-be-crap sketch, but It did get me a lot of great advice. Thanks a ton!

I'd rather not go into detail because that would give some things away. But I can tell you that he was kidnapped when he was ten. They found him within a year. His kidnapper was a sadistic jerk-face.

I actually did see people in color. But that was only after I got to know them a little while. I think it would be more accurate that I see personalities and individuals in color. You know?
