Description A rather old bust sculpture I've done my freshman year of college. This is my winged tigress character, Nu--Sans the wings, obviously. She weilds the power of the sun & fire. She stands at about 4 inches tall.

White clay based & hand painted with watercolor glaze. No overglazes applied. Although she may look complete, she never went through a glaze firing. Only a bisque firing. Nevertheless, she's fine without the final glaze firing.

And when I say left & right, I meant MY right & left.

Medium:
-- White clay
-- Watercolor glaze

Nu belongs & is copyright to Me, thanks.

I love that design right on top of her forehead, the swirly triangular shaped stripes. Whoa, say that three times fast. Very neat work here! ^.^

Thank you for the wonderful comment! Y'know, just reading your enthusiasm for my Keepers makes me want to draw them again! Which I should, anyway. It's been years since I've drawn them. WHO KNOWS. Maybe I will...

Hey I remember this cutie! Beautiful sculpture.. I've always loved her color combo with the dark/light tans :> you should do a full sculpt with her wings

Thanks for the compliments, Lexus.

I have made a full-body sculpture of her before, actually. I gave it to as a semi-gift because I no longer had room to keep her. Her tail was made extra long & unfortunately, it broke in several peices during the bisque firing. It was glued back together but the cracks are very apparent. Maybe I'll ask Charismatic~Navina to take a picture of her for me to post in here.

I miss sculpting a lot & I've been wanting to try my hands on that Sculpy stuff everyone uses, but I don't have money for it, nor is there a store in my town that carries it.

Oh yeah, Sculpey is definately the bees knees, you really should try it Ooh, yeah it can be pricey.. hm. Have you tried Dick Blick or Cheap Joes online? They probably have it, and their stuff is always discounted :>
Aww I'd love to see the full sculpt if you can get a photo!
