You are very welcome. They are quite common over here in Iowa. They are deadly poisonous but so they tend to be left alone by all the animals, which makes for some interesting photos.

That is safest. We had a dog that was always eating mushrooms & then it would worry me that he'd get sick or die from it. Sometimes they didn't agree with him, but I was never able to break him of the habit.

Well the deer were eating all of the plants in the area but this remained untouched. That always makes me suspicious of them.

Thank you we were wondering what it was and if it is poisonous. There are many mushrooms that can be eaten, but i Do now know enough about them to keep from getting killed.
