Okay, this isn't any particular species of falcon, but I drew in the likeliness of a Peregrine Falcon (one of my two favorite birds)So it's very similar. Technical drawings of birds is very fun, so expect more accurate pics like this sometime in the future....

damn youuuuuuuuuuuuu...I want to go back to drawing birds/wings now too. haha, I think I used to be better at them when I was like 8...my skills are rusty now.

The best part is the overall smooth aesthetic flow of the piece--more than just technically precise, your falcon perfectly portrays the sense of effortless flight. Peregrines are one of my favorite too--did you read My Side of the Mountain?

maybe it has an egyptian accent? haha, very very impressive, again with the composition though - all the lines lead to the head so you focus there but it doesn't allow you to see the rest of the image properly, just to blance the image, I would add a thin branch that bends near the tail so that there's a seperat line that connects the wings and the tail so the image isn't so polar. by the way I hope i'm not too heavy with the citiques, that's just an example so you know what I mean, you know? your art is very detailed and on blank backgrounds and it's hard to do a composition that way because It always makes the image polar, which makes it hard for the eye to take in the whole image at once.

Thanks! I drew this a long time ago....a few years actually O___o when I look at it now, it looks very....strange to me. I've had a few years of practice since then...
I intend to draw a sort of "replacement" for this one, to sort of update my style of drawing birds to the world.
I need to get on a lot of things O__o
