Beautiful illustration, and also - it's in Polish! So I belive there this new Andersen will be published in Poland. I hope to find it in bookstore soon!

Hi Joanna nice to hear from you. Yes indeed it's in Polish but I'm afraid that it was published some years ago.
However I have recently found  publishers for it in both Russia and China: wiil either of those languages do?
I've looked for a publisher to reprint in Poland but so far without sucess.

And what was the title of the old Polish edition? Maybe the book is still available in some Polish internet bookstore... I really would buy it with pleasure. I wouldn't mind to have this book in Russian,  but I'm not sure if I'll be able to buy it from Russia. This is not UE, their shops use no Paypal, internet communication is nearly impossible since my comp doesn't send messages in Russian alphabet. In short, it's a trouble to buy anything there.

The title in Polish is  " Krzesiwo" There were two Andersen stories
in the book, the main one was "The Tinderbox" which translates of course
translates to Kresiwo in Polish.
I understand your problems regarding buying from Russia. Perhaps if
you search second hand books sites in Poland you may be lucky.

Thank you for information! I've made a little search and so far I wasn't lucky, but one day someone may be selling this book on eBay or Allegro (which is Polish eBay). I'll be checking  from time to time.

Is this a part of your "great work"? My eldest grand daughter has stolen my book  "Le petit Chaperon rouge"....though
she doesn't understand any word of the story!

Yes it is. I've posted the Polish translation rather than the Russian, and I can't read either of them.
I suppose that your grand daughter must like the illustrations well enough
otherwise she wouldn't have thought it worth stealing. I take it as a compliment.

Pleased to hear that, I like it a lot too. It's typical Hans Andersen written from the heart.

Yes that's right. Things are going very well I'm working with a Chinese publisher at the moment.
