We suffer with the absurdity of our own personal cold Spiral in the modern times, until we get to that lowest point, we can look beyond all the Absurdity. Do we continue to spiral? or do we Jump out of it? break free from it completely?. we can see on the boundaries or this spiral -those delightful distractions that can allows us to just, Simply Avoid it. Perfect Abstract.Β

The spiral goes in two direction: inward, toward annihilation, and outward, toward freedom. We see those beautiful things on our way to annihilation or on the way to freedom. No need to attach ourselves to those delightful distractions. In the end, they won't matter.Β
BTW, and only you could appreciate this, I wanted to paint the perfect picture. Klee recommended balance. Kandinsky recommended color harmony. Diego Rivera said there must be a spiral. My artist friend JAG SΓ‘nchez told me I should divide the picture plane into 16 zones and put something in each zone. I synthesized all those ideas into this painting, and I originally called it "Perfecto".
But only the Tao is perfect, right?Β

Your Analogy makes more sense with the spiral Absurdity in these modern times, the Majority of the masses are unknowingly heading inwards, towards annihilation like lambs to the slaughter lead by the Judas Sheep, whatever that Judas sheep maybe...as to the alternatives which is so simple,' outward freedom', what is true freedom? peace, love? if we want it? is it that simple? yes the distractions we attach ourselves too are pointless if we continue to spiral inwards...Β
If one paints a perfect picture, with the recommended guidelines from the likes of those artists you mentioned then the Abstract piece you've created becomes your own personal Tao, you can live in harmony with your craft, the perfect result is when you have other Artists, critics agree with your ''perfecto''. i see your Abstracts intelligent and full of content.

You have seen through the veneer of my pretty colors to receive the message. Not everyone has your talent, but that's ok.Β
Yes, the majority of people are spiraling inward, but some of us have chosen the other direction, toward outer space, where the attractive distractions are nothing more than extra weight. The outward spiral is only attainable if we shed those booster rockets in order to reach infinity.
Om is the bow, the arrow is the soul, atman is the arrow's goal at which one aims unflinchingly. (I don't know if Buddha really said that. I remember the line from Hermann Hesse's Siddhartha.)
Love you long time, my friend! Merry Christmas!
