//just got around to replying to most of the messages waiting for me (especially the shorter ones); the rest will have to wait tomorrow as I'm heading to bed early after this since I've been functioning all day with only 3 hours of sleep lmaoooo
Rambling aside
Since it's at least still the 25th for me (albeit at night) as I upload this, I suppose the message is still relevant~

Decided to draw a pic of the Smash gang getting together for the season (which was also loosely based off and inspired by this scene from a Christmas comic special in the German version of the Club Nintendo magazine~)
//also an excuse for me to do cel-shaded drawings again because I haven't done it in a long time lol
Also, this is not meant to portray any ships whatsoever. It's just friends on a Christmas party~ :'3
Plus, I wanted to fit Toad as much as possible so if you're wondering why he seems "taller," just say that he's standing on an offscreen stool hdskgjhd

[Commenting with the spirit of Critmas 2018 .
Wow the amount of the variation in this scene is great! The interaction between characters here were the one that caught my eyes the first time, they seem to really enjoy the Christmas time with the sense of celebration as expected in Christmas parties. I also love your work on the composition, the window on the left seems to balance the heavy-filled space on the canvas' right side, good thinking. Also the colors of the different character fandom look quite evenly spread all around.
But I think the wall on the background still could use more things, there's still a bit too much blank. I'd suggest probably more of those tiny colorful lamps hanging on the ceiling, or a fireplace with flower wreath and socks, and a few gift boxes on the floor.
However obviously you did very well in terms of technique, the outlines, coloring, and shadings are very neat and properly drawn. I believe the viewers can immediately spot/notice the characters upon the first look since you drew them very well. Keep up the awesome work, merry Christmas and happy new year!^^

Ah the mystery behind dat Santa Mario icon!
So many characters together in one room and the little hint at those old comics, the hype is real Buddy! It's so great to see a familiar scene, but in a brand new way!
I bet Cinnamon Angel Boi is enjoying the cheerful environment! Considering this would've probably taken place (IF it had taken place in the same timeline) not too soon after a certain....Vacation and he's probably ready for a vacation himself. (Away from all the pokes at Universes and Words-Icus) 
Peach and Link over there having a very cheerful conversation it seems! 
As bad as I feel for Mario and Luigi, I just can't be 'angry' with Yoshi!

Admittedly a minor reason for making them wear sweaters was because I was lazy and didn't have enough time to draw Pit, Peach and Link in their canon outfits but at the same time it fits pretty well for the holidays lol~
