Asking for purpose in life is a common question. But you give it an interesting twist by making a monster ask that question. Usually monsters like this one are just plain evil forces, opposing a protagonist in some story or whatever. If you hear such stories or watch a movie with the same idea, you never ask about why that beast does what it does, you just see it as an antagonist that the protagonist has to overcome.Like, why does the monster kill/destroy/hate? Every negative feeling has an origin. There is no such thing as pure evil.I really like the perspective you created here. Seeing the other side and stuff. Nice idea and good execution

Wow! thank you so much for the feed back! yes the idea is that he's the only kind of his species that isnt 'a monster' and was born with azure eyes, instead of red.
