Perhaps due to him being a gashadokuro (even in humanoid form), Kase is easily overlooked, and doesn't tend to get noticed until he speaks up. If you do manage to strike up a conversation with him, however, Kase is friendly and polite, even if his soft-spoken words are often broken up by coughing fits that had plagued him from a young age. He may stay indoors most of the time, tending to his flower shop, but Kase greatly enjoys exploring the outside world and its people. He knows how to deal with people nicely, but is terrible at confrontations, especially violent ones. A pacifist by nature, Kase will sooner apologize and flee than stand his ground. He is rarely angered or annoyed, but the vicious nature of a gashadokuro is still inside him; most just never see it.
