Kat turned her head and jumped up in surprise as the loner spoke to her.

He grinned lazily and laid his head on the fence as he gazed at her.

She tilted her head at him,pricking her ears."Hii..who are you?"

"Ashes."He blew up his long bangs out of his left eye only for them to flop back down again."And what's your name,cuuutie?"

"Kat..hey,are you from around here?Because I live with my little sister and a few friends at that barn back there..and well,I haven't seen you before."

He tilted his head,seemingly confused."What, on the farm?What about the humans who live there?Anyway...I'm not really from around THIS area..I just move around alot by myself."He smiled.

Kat shrugged."It's abandoned now.No livestock,no humans,nothing.Just us lot."

"Ahh,right..hey,do you wanna take a walk with me?"

"WHAT?"

He grinned,blinking his green eyes at her."Sorry.I know it sounds creepy."

"It's not."She laughed."Sure,I'll walk with you!"

He grinned at her,raising his head from the fence,suddenly jumping up and leaning over it,to give her a quick lick on the cheek."Well,good Beautiful,because I get lonely walking by myself."
