Happy/sad headcanon incoming 
So, everyone knows that Sans has knowledge of past resets and timelines. But Cheri's case is a little different. Instead of remembering past timelines, she can see future ones. Cheri is able to witness all possible future outcomes based on any given event that happens, all at the same time. If you have watched Men in Black 3, she's like Griffin in this case. She does not know which outcome or timeline will actually occur (since the future isn't set in stone), but she does know all the possible outcomes that can occur. Sometimes she predicts the timelines correctly, other times she doesn't. This is why she was so overjoyed when Papyrus Jr. was born. She was the only one who saw the possible outcome that Papyrus and Mettaton would have a child, and she was so happy that she would have a new cousin. It is unknown how long she has been able to witness future timelines, but it is assumed that it started to occur with the conception of Papyrus Jr, therefore she was about a year old when it presumably started. Having only 5 HP isn't the only reason why Cheri is tired all the time. Seeing all the possible future timelines based on a single action can get very exhausting at times. Though she tries to manipulate the present so the future can change, it doesn't always work on her behalf, so she often just...gives up. No one yet knows that Cheri has this ability, not even her parents. Sans has a feeling that she might remember resets and timelines, but he doesn't know that she can see the future ones, not the past ones. However, Cheri will try to avert disaster happening to Papyrus Jr. if possible, even stopping him from trying out new things. Sometimes, Papyrus Jr. wonders why Cheri is so afraid to try out new things, but he hasn't confronted her about it yet. Undertale (c) Toby Fox

It's not going to change. She's always going to be able to see all possible futures. Maybe her intuition might change or remain the same, depending if she wishes to exercise the ability.

And add to that the fact that's one of the reasons she's always exhausted so it's pretty much justified(?)
Papyrus Jr. don't do it, whatever it is; Cheri knows best!
...Though, I hope you don't mind me clarifying (because who knows, it may also just be your headcanon), but Sans doesn't really see past timelines; only Flowey is shown to be able to, given he's previously had that ability to SAVE and RESET before the player. 
In fact, he pretty much hints at it, at most, like the rest of the characters when you reset. Toriel hints at your previous choice when she asks which you prefer. Papyrus asks if he'd met you before because he felt familiar with you. And if you were friends with Undyne in the previous run, she'll say how she feels all..."chummy" with you before you fight her.
Sans pretty much has knowledge of timelines resetting (because he's a quantum physics nerd like that, LOL), but he doesn't really retain knowledge of them, otherwise he could've acted completely differently toward you, like Flowey does.
Well, that's how I see it, and it's pretty much confirmed by most of everyone as far as I know, but I wondered if Sans having knowledge of past timelines was your headcanon of him, like how he's now literally younger than Papyrus(?)

I didn't want Cheri to have the same exact problem as Sans has, so I opted for the future rather than the past.
Well, remember that Cheri doesn't always know which of the (seemingly infinite) outcomes will turn out to be the real one. So there is a chance that nothing will go wrong with whatever Papyrus Jr. was planning to do.
Yeah, I know about that. While I do know it's "canon", as determined by many, I do use the headcanon that Sans has full knowledge of the resets; he just can't manipulate them or cause them himself. The reason why he acts the same in every timeline is because of the "game factor". It's an act to stay in character for the Player and because Undertale is a "game". (And also probably because he still secretly hopes that if he stays the same, the Player will eventually pick a peaceful route.) I think this would also explain why Sans has said he'd given up by now; I bet he's tried countless time to revert the timelines and stop Papyrus and everyone else from dying, but with all those resets in his head, he thinks there's no point.

Hmm, I didn't think Sans would go far as to put up an act because it's a "game." But then again, I'm pretty sure nearly everyone in the game has broken the fourth wall, anyway. :U
Well, I figured that when he said "given up," it was because due to his "reports," he pretty much knows it would all reset anyway without his knowledge so he wouldn't bother anymore, but that's also a pretty plausible theory you have there.
...Though I don't supposed you have a headcanon supporting why it seems Papyrus completely disregards obstacles (like after you battled him and decided to date/hang-out with him he just went off, completely oblivious to the trees and the river? 
I don't suppose it was Papyrus's...sense of responsibility that compelled you to make Sans younger or was it in one of your pics and I missed it...?

Well, there were a few fanfictions that I read and that was the impression I got from it. I really liked it, so why not implement it into my headcanon? 
Oh, I think that's intentional. He literally just flies off into the air, which I think was just a crack at humor from Toby Fox.

Well, I was thinking about Cheri having a nightmare similar to the ones Sans has, and her father - the skeletal one XD - comes in to comfort her. She can't take all the horrible nightmares anymore so she ends up blurting out her powers to see into the future, and that's how the two have a discussion about Sans' own powers to recall past timelines and how Cheri will never be alone in these kinds of situations. Then they share a quick hug and Sans stays with Cheri until she falls back asleep.

Just like Sans has given up based on what's happened in the past, Cheri's got the same issue with the future. And since she doesn't know which timeline will become reality, it's exhausting.
