I'm so envious of you!!! A 50mm F1.4 lens!!! Haven't seen a real one ever!!! I NEED ONE RIGHT NOW!!! Are you a pro???

That good... ANYTHING!!! I was trying to get my hand on a Sigma 70-200 F2.8 but is like 650 dollars!!! Shit, I don't want to know how much is worth your lens!!! I think I'll have to settle for this one ... It's not a professional lens but is very good and have a macro feature at 200-200 mm... I don't have the kind of money to buy top lenses!!! So, good luck, go get your hands on a nice lens... And with a 50 mm on your hand I'll say buy a 100 mm or an 18 mm... Right now people settles for variable focal length instead of carrying a lot of different lenses...

Sigma has some reputation for poor quality control, but good optics... When you want to check if a lens is good enough go to PhotographyREVIEW , where you can find reviews from people who own the lens...

this shot could be something from vogue. brillant shot, i love the shadows. the lighting and pose just adds to this photo. this feels so vintage, i agree with indefinitely, it reminds me of the 40's maybe the 20's too.

The shadows are magnificent, the whole piece just screams of an era gone by, maybe the 1940s. The positioning of their heads is also very interesting - the main intent or focus of the photo is I presume the pearls, given your title, but really the pearls are pretty much the last thing you notice. They could be sisters lying like that, the heads almost forming some soft of heart if you look at it in a certain way.
I can just see it now, the girls returning home from a night on the town, partying at swanky trendy places with fanciable looking young army officers, coming home and remembering the lovely night they've had. Just beautiful!
Also you have the same camera as I do, and the same lens, except I own the 50mm f/1.8 rather than the 1.4

asuming amanda is left and samira is right.
amandas' dress reminds me of an abacus which makes me think of logic. this reinforces her distant and thoughtfull look.
samira looks terribly interested in amanda. like she is gazing into a vast and unknowable well.
nice, you are good with the camera.
