The lighting is very nice; the shadows definitely make this picture. I also like the title. Lately I've been paying more attention to the lighting around me, and it seems to be alive if I look at it just the right way. It's dark and romantic at once.

is this lighting and scene completely natural? or were they posed there to catch the back-lighting just like that? whichever it was, this is a truly beautiful shot. the lighting how it is does a great job of adding depth and layers to this shot, and it looks like a very casual and every day scene, but captured quite beautifuly. great work.

This is an excellent capture.... I love how most of the shot is backlit and dark but that the people have light on their faces.

great timing with the people and light/shadows... reminds me very much of trent parke's work... if you haven't heard of him you should check him out... a lot of urban shots that play with light and shadow and reflections

This is incredible, it's got the duality of a noir feel and the lightness of a romantic portrait. You could have captured these two on a film set, walking through the side streets of Paris, you got them just at the right moment, without being contrived in the positioning or making it feel staged - just right! A from me.
