Description
Here's my Meta Knight tattoo!
It measures about 14 x 12 cm [5.5 x 5 in] and took 2 hours to make. c:
Now I have two of my favourite Nintendo series represented; Super Mario and Kirby. Ironically there are no Mario or Kirby on me, they are just a little bit too "good" for me. Good and obvious. I wanted to get MK back in 2008 after Brawl came out but I wasn't sure if it was just a fad or not... And now 3 years later I can tell it wasn't a fad, so I had it done. I love Kirby games because they're so darn sweet and cute, different and even I can play them. Or, most parts of them.
I suck at Mario games though but I've loved to watch them ever since I was 5 or so.In the future I'm hoping to get a left sleeve done, spreading from Waluigi to the shoulder and arm. Fill it with Super Mario and Kirby themes. Maybe a morsel of Zelda. C:

The hurting? Absolutely, I felt pain and it only got worse towards the end of it when the skin area was all needled up. I suppose it's a matter of perspective in a way, if you want it bad enough then you can also deal with the hot burning feeling of the tattoo process. :]

And I would love to but I just can't really picture what it feels like and that's what scares me. xD I'm terribly afraid of needles, so I am not sure how it would feel. I imagine its like a needle scraping across your skin non-stop.

All I can say is ... the tattoo artist was awesome. I'm everso happy to have it done by that guy, my poor Waluigi wasn't quite as fortunate (and I might get it touched up sometime). :F

I haven't posted the design I did for the tattoo, but you can see it really tiny at my gallery folder. :] Although no doubt would he (the tattooist) be able to draw a snazzy MK if he studied the character.

Honestly, I know u can't get the marking off of u once it's done and put on u but can someone tell me do u really go to hell just cuz of marking up ur body like a tattoo?

But hey, most people do get tattoos and I want one cuz I do and Im worried that if I do the tattoo will be screwed up and not the way I want it to be so that's kinda one of the reasons why Im worried about getting one though. Any adivce?

That whole hell thing must be the same what I read over the internet, about stuff said in the Bible (things that are hard to apply in the modern days). Obsolete things such as stoning people and how it's forbidden using clothing made of mixed fibres (...), or forbidden to cut your hair / beard.
Tattoos are quite permanent by nature, that's the whole point.
Otherwise laser job comes into the picture. Well that, or a cover-up tattoo.
As for getting the tattoo screwed up - now that is absolute possibility and probably a little hell in itself - you have got to screen your tattoo artists. Browse artists' portfolios in advance over the internet, if possible.
And I hope you know quality tattoos don't normally come cheap.
You must be somewhat religious to be concerned about going to hell for having a tattoo.. I'm not really anybody to say anything to that, other than don't worry.

Wen u get a tattoo where does it hurt more? the back or something like that? Some people said getting a tattoo on the foot was painful too.

I suppose the pain experience is different from person to person, but... What I've read the most is that if there's a bone nearby, like on the spine or shoulder blade, then it's going to sting worse than on some "softer" areas.
I could tell a difference with this MK tattoo, it sorta goes over my shoulder blade and it sure enough was more sore when getting it done (also during the healing process).
Oh, and rib area is said to hurt the worst. Probably the whole bone thing again..
If you were wanting it on your arm, that's probably not bad at all pain-wise.
That thing lasted for months. And _now_, when I got MK done at a different (far more skilled) artist, the tattoo basically stopped hurting within the first week. I could not believe it. ._.
It really made me wonder wheter the first guy pushed the tattoo stuff too deep into the skin... It had parts where the skin would elevate a little bit when I was feeling hot/sweaty. Weird crap like that. 
All in all, find you a great artist. If you really want a good tattoo, it will be worth it!

Yh, I think the arm wouldn't be the most painful in my opinion.
Don't usually getting another tattoo would take maybe alittle over a week to stop hurting? Well, I guess everyone is different wen they get tattoo's and how long for them to stop hurting and stuff.

I like how you have the invincibility lollipop too. I actually have no idea what my opinion on tattoos is anymore. I thought about getting Rosalina on my back (just her face, though), but I hear it hurts like hell.

Yeah, the lollipop was to sort of tie the two tattoos together. I don't mind the symbolism, either (power star & invincibility lollipop).
Rosalina is such a lovely character! My _main_ favourite among Waluigi, but I myself don't want partial images on me (like the face you mentioned) and her dress is just too large of a surface to spend on a tattoo
I think when it comes to tattooing there can be no doubt in your heart on what you want to have. And even if you decide to not have any tattoos whatsoever in your whole life - that's okay, too. c: I just think that having myself decorated with stuff that I like makes me feel more whole. Somehow.
Oh and the pain. I had pretty much forgotten the whole ordeal! I was actually surprised just how much it hurt having it done. 
Not saying that to scare you off, it's just that.. well, tattoos hurt. 
But anyway. There can never be too many video game tattoos in this world.

Well, I may wait a few years and see if I still want Rosalina. The only other thing I can think of is a Triforce on my hand, but that's bad for job interviews, so I would wait until I have a steady job, you know?
