lovely design! Rather vintage/retro (if those are the right words)! Is Jenna a new character for your comic?

Thanks for the comment.
What do you mean by "vintage/retro" ? Does this drawing remind you old comics ?
Jenna is a character i use for practice. She is a fashion addict.
I need to draw humans to improve my drawing skills and they will be usefull for drawing people and anthro later.
For the next comic, i am searching for a story.
But when i get an idea, i think that i will be blocked by the drawing, specially by the background.
I keep on searching and if i don't find a good idea i will draw humans or animals or backgrounds for exercising.

Yeah I kinda feel like the fashion is something from like the 1920s...except I just had a look on google and the 20s fashion looks nothing like what Jenna is wearing XD I am rubbish with fashion lol! Looking at this piece again, I feel the clothes she's wearing are quite French-like?
Humans are pretty difficult to draw. I have practised some poses in the past and I feel that really helped me to understand how the human anatomy works. Keep going Squirrell!
I think it's normal to come up against blocks or barriers when wanting to produce an idea on paper. Sometimes when I draw something it doesn't turn out exactly the way I hope but I still try my best to make it come as close to what I envisioned.

I am not a fashion addict, i usually wear jean and tee-shirt but i like to create a character who is a fashion addict.
It's easier for me to use the french style for clothes.
In this case, i had a look at the next collection of a french company called "Zadig et Voltaire".
www.zadig-et-voltaire.com/eu/f…
I have a new idea for a comic, a very short one with 7 drawings, i am working on it but i will need a lot of time to draw it.

Me too, I am not big on fashion. My wardrobe is pretty bland but I'm on the lookout for something special in shops

The French style is rather elegant I think. Also quite geometric sometimes. Are you French yourself?

That's exciting! I can't wait to see it What will it be about?

Yes i am a real french.
I agree the french style is elegant in the shops and the magazines. There are great stylists in France.

But the french women are not more elegant than other women, because most of the time, they buy clothes which don't fit them and because beautiful clothes are expensive.

The new comic is a short story about Bunny. I made the storyboard and i am working on the drawings.
But it's difficult because i have to draw different poses of Bunny and my skills are low.
If i can write several short comics with Bunny, later i will put them together and i will make "The adventures of Bunny" book !

For a french person you speak good english. I am jealous of your bilingual-ness >.< I can only speak english but I am trying to learn cantonese at the moment. It is quite difficult ;_;

Haha tbh it is the same anywhere in the world, I imagine! Women will buy shoes that are uncomfortable to wear or clothes which are a dress size too small just because they like the look of them.

It may be difficult but you are gaining a lot of experience through doing this, so keep at it Your book idea sounds very cute also! I am looking forward to your new comic(s).

My English looks good but i have a great lack of vocabulary and i guess i make a lot of grammar mistakes !
I learnt English and Spanish at school but i did not use Spanish so i am very bad for this language, i can't talk it, i am just able to understand it a little bit.
If you have enough motivation for learning Cantonese you will get it.

I am working on the new story of Bunny. It's awfull ! I am drawing something very simple but it is very hard for me ! It's why i don't try to draw long stories because i will never finish them.

I think your grammar is fine, I have not noticed any mistakes so far! Keep practising and it will get better
I agree, with motivation should be able to reach basic level of conversation. I am also trying to learn how to read Chinese script, which is quite difficult to memorise because of all the lines XD

Oh I know what you mean. If it gets too frustrating to draw something it becomes very easy to give up right? I have that often...and that's when I know I need a break! I will comment on your new Bunny story later.
