i made a set of regional variants that i have had brewing for a while. the meowth ones were actually an idea suggested by my girlfriend, basing them off of those really shaky images of black cats moving very fast. qwilfish i just thought of during christmas and JUST NOW got to drawing.

meowth and whiskinesis are, like i said above, based off of those funny pictures of black cats moving very fast. i decided to make them psychic since floating sporadically would constantly look like those pictures.

for quilfish, i figured since corsola and cursola are themed around ocean pollution and environmental damage, i wanted to do something similar with another one off aquatic johto pokémon. instead of ocean pollution, i based their changes off of constant war, and how they adapted to it. qwilfish is now a naval mine used for combat, and its signiature move is explosion/self destruct. kilfish on the other hand, is much faster and its signiature move is probably something unique to it since it's based off of a torpedo with a naval mine attatched to it, and also a flattened pufferfish.
