Definitely not my favourite year model of the Thunderbird, but I still find it awesome.

Another picture, taken late in the day, that I took with ~CH40S-Shrew .

I would've loved if it was an early 80's model, but hey. It's a Thunderbird still, so I'm pretty satisfied of my discovery.

Unimportant side note:
Shrew and I called it Zapdos because Zapdos is a thunder type Pokémon... and is a bird...

UPDATE: All the thunder of the T-bird.

Thunderbirds are rear-wheel drive. This is the regular model, with an engine which felt under-powered with 140 hp at 3800 rpm. Another model, the Super Coupe, had an engine which could reach 210 hp at 4000 rpm. (0-60 mph in 7.4 seconds)
