Selecting a wine is something individual.There are so many factors to be considered.
Relationships are as choice as wine, aren't they?
A preference predetermined by bread.
Seduced by initial aroma, evaluated by the finish.
Each glass, leaving an impression to the pallet.
Lips linger as they part with velvet ocean,
Evaluation loiters through thick and thin-
Whether luscious, whether dry.
Is it sweet, balanced,
Or is the taste of bitterness all that is left behind?
Meticulous, yet subconscious,
Commending full body perfection,
Yet criticizing flaws, shortcomings,
And the lack of Essence.
Individual desires,
Exploited, experienced, and sculpted.
The brilliant,
Introducing pleasure, warmth, and satisfaction.
Created, rare and rounded, saved to appreciate.
Though many acquire this scarce delight,
some, choose to admire its beauty another day.
Minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, and years-
Appreciation, unnoticed and forgotten.
The proper arrangements for such longevity,
Never the care was taken.
A versatile fruit, with so much potential.
Oxidized to a stagnant black vinegar.
An unfortunate and irreversible transformation.
Oh so many qualities,
Ruined by neglect.
