i love not only the lines - having the steps on their side makes an unusual set of curves - but the colour in the wall is amaaaazing!!!!

yep it's actaully a very very old wall, with some extra contrast it looks even more old.. thank you, i'm glad you like it, and yes everything which has to do with sp rules

Honestly, I can't decide if I like it this way up or horizontal. Certainly gives an interesting atmosphere to it this way - maybe it's not abstract enough to get away from seeing it for what it is, so the brain (or my brain anyway!

It's amazing what a change in perspective can do for a piece of photography. I'm really drawn to the mix in patterns, shapes, and textures here - as well as the nice contrast between the yellow / stone white.

I love the color and texture -- and I like the way it's oriented -- vertical, it acquires motion and velocity and becomes more like a landslide than stairs.
