TANK HISTORY AND BACKGROUND:

During the wars of the U.H.A.A.T the Liberator MK1 and it's newer Official variants/export variants were the most commonly used tank in the Milkyway outselling the U.N.F's T-72s and M1 Abrams!

By the end of the 21st century (2099) the Liberator Tank was starting to show its age and it was becoming cannon fodder, plans for a Liberator Mk2 were put into concept but nothing had yet been produced not even a blueprint.

But during The First Universe War a Stop Gap Tank was needed to ease the pressure on the high demand for the Liberator.

So a few military geniuses had decided to draw up plans for a tank known as "Overlord" in their minds this would be the Toughest Tank and a champion of the galaxy.

After 4 in years of development then 2 years of building saw the Birth of the Overlord MK1 in the year 2182 (Regular 205MM Cannon) then it was later followed in 2183 by The Overlord M1URL1 (MK1 Urban RailGun) The design is somewhat Retro yet also futuristic according to some observers in the galaxy.

The 205MM Smoothbore cannon was scrapped for a game changing weapon, known as the 215MM Buster Railgun this high velocity gun was used on UHAAT ships originally but now with more compact technology they were able to fit it onto an Overlord Tank as so with the Liberator MK2. (Which somehow made it onto the battlefield before the Overlord)

It's Secondary Weapon is a normal 50 Calibre rifle as used on the Legion APC, it was considered more cost efficient then the 50MM Turreted Semi-Automatic Anti-Material Gun.

A 100 MK1 Overlords were sent to the planet Naroon during The First Universe War, they proved a huge success decimating the 42 threat while Liberators MK1s were being destroyed in the thousands.

A new armour system was implemented to like what you see on the chassis and main turret nicknamed Trolly armour.

While being slower then the Liberator due to the Buster Railgun it proved to be a much safer tank to be in.

It uses electrified hardened cage wire which causes an (alien) RPG or Anti-Tank Missile to explode before impact making the weapon useless.

TANK SPECS:

Main Armour is still Micro-Composite so no upgrade there.

Main Weapon: 215MM Buster Railgun which fires high velocity projectiles which are Armour Piecing, Mortar, High Explosive, Anti-Personal-Frag and the Megashall for Artillery purposes.

Secondary Weapon: Enhanced 125MM Turreted Semi-Automatic Anti-Material Gun

Main Armour: Composite Micro Armour a lot more durable then current 21st Composite Armours if the tank is damaged from enemy fire the micro composite armour can be easily replaced because it's so small and costs less

Secondary Armour: Electrified Composite ERA Blocks (can be used at least 4 times)

Additional Armour: Electrified Trolly Armour to protect against RPG's and Anti-Tank Weaponry. (even missiles)

Speed: Min 25MPH Max 45MPH

Crew of 3 Turret is totally robotic and semi-self aware with micro sensors installed. (if needed)
