Def:
Developed in 1942 for the Royal Atlantic Nation (R.A.N.) armed forces, the T42 was a response to the up-gunned GermanPanzer IV Medium Tank. Armed with a high velocity 8cm main armament, and protected by 80mm of sloped frontal armor, the T42 was a good match for the German tank. The T42 was propelled by a 550 hp engine giving the tank good mobility, and the tank's wide tracks allowed for it to cross muddy/loose terrain fairly well. One of the tank's greatest strength, however, was in its road wheels. The tank had 9 road wheels mounted separately on their bogies allowing for the tank's crew to quickly take a damaged bogie off and replace it with a new one. The tank's large number of road wheels also helped in dispersing the tank's weight, and the tank was known to be still operational after losing one to two road wheels.
The T42 proved well in combat only suffering to somewhat regular engine failures as the 550hp engine was an experimental model, being both lighter and stronger than engines of similar sizes. This experimental engine also raised the tank's price tag and making the tank more complex to build and maintain.  All these flaws resulted in fewer than 10,000 units models being built by the war's end though these flaws didn't hinder the tank from becoming one of R.A.N.'s main tanks during the war.

I wasn't in the mood so I redrew an old  tank I made back in 2016, and it feels good to be using Frank  again even if it's only for this illustration.
