The T-15 was a light tank built by R.A.N. for operation within desert climates. Even though the island nation of R.A.N. doesn't usually have to worry about deserts, and none of her colonies where located in the heart of any deserts, the top thinkers projected the next big war may call for the need to fight in these conditions. As such the T-15 was built. Wide tracks to help propel the tank over the loose sands, re-worked air filters for the engine and crew compartment to take in account of the sand, and on board storage of water for the crew and the engine. The first phase of the T-15 was basically a complete failure as none of the features worked, the tracks ere still to narrow, the engine was still clogged with sand, and the water storage bins always broke loose. As such the T-15/1 was later built to rectify these problems turning the T-15 into an effect scout in desert climates.
