it's actually spandex but it's the kind you can get around halloween time so it's shinier. It's not too bad, it's very stretchy though, and you have to kinda make it a couple sizes smaller then your body in order to have it form better (otherwise you get a lot of wrinkles...like in some areas on my cosplay i have as i still haven't perfected it yet) but it's not hard at all just time consuming.
latex i heard is much harder because it has no stretch and it suction cups to your body so it's very hard to get the right size to look properly.
