The last show before the championships. A fully ridden event. Bailey had been working with Tesla nonstop to get him to where he is. And it showed. The stud was aging like fine wine, which was rather fitting as Barossa was held at a vineyard. Wine was quite literally the “theme”.

Jumping was to be held in the morning. The air was crisp but the ground was still wet, holding onto the moisture from the night before. Bailey studied the jumping course to ensure there wouldn’t be any mistakes on her end. She wanted to leave the embarrassment to Lana and Sail. Everyone knew they’d put on a show. Bailey only brought one horse this time, her dressage steed had been dealing with an injury that was taking it’s sweet time on healing. Obviously making best that he stayed in Texas, unridden.

Bailey and Tesla were one of the first to jump the course. Leaving the ground relatively untouched. Tesla showed off his scope throughout their run, making Bailey proud, and almost difficult to stay with him. He was nothing short of an amazing horse. Just like his sire and dam. The pair had a fast, clear round. Definitely setting the bar for the rest of the competitors.
