Da Jia Hao!!! How's everyone these days? :3 Have life been good to you? xDlool it's a long time since I submit due to the lack of scanner or this piccy would have been submit a loooooong time ago xD And life so far....other than being sick, getting to carry large textbooks that weigh at least 2 kg for 4 floors every single day, tons of homework...yeah, life's been good to me
I'm shocked that I'm still alive xD Anyways *ocugh cough* Not even sure why I'm talking about how life have been to me .___. but I guess this pic is self-explanatory enough. Ps. Spoilers!! Shoulda have put that right at the front of the description or all over the pic lol

I absolutely love this picture! And your art style is so sophisticated, the way you shade with your pencil is quite stylistic. You don't find that much in anime renders anymore. Great work!

Haha, I like this so much I do have to comment on it even though that particular chapter of the manga made me go *grumblegrumble*. Buuut, that's just me, I think I'm the one person alive who doesn't want the happy endings to include kids and settling down. XD Don't get me wrong, I wanted them to be together...I just wasn't ready to accept that Sango was going to give up her "career-woman" status...and pretty much her identity. Hehe, sorry...everytime I think of it I just start going on and on... lol
I really like the shading and the textures that you used, and Miroku's expression makes me giggle. I also like you you made a hint of a background so it makes it feel like a complete scene without taking too much focus away from the foreground. I also like how you did Miroku's hair. I like it a LOT. For some reason, I find his hair really difficult to do. Also, you're really good at hands-I like Sango's in particular.
Black and white art is great. I find it hard to do for anime characters because I get the urge to put them in bright cartoony colours, so I really admire when people can do it well! ^_^
Hehe, if they are your second favourite couple, I am very tempted to ask who is your first and second! XD I'm nosy.

Yeah, that chapter was not one of the best ones >< Rumiko could have done a better job, but I still have to admire how she could do 40 pages in a week @.@ I hope that Sango wouldn't give up her taijiya identity either T^T She kick-ass with her awesome skills. But the only way she can go out fighting again is I guess by leaving her children in the care of some of the villagers or our dear old Kaede? xD
Miroku's hair IS difficult! @.@ His front hair must be at a right amount, not too much or too little, which makes it so hard T^T Glad that you still think he looks like Miroku lool
Bright cartoony colors are also nice too, it gives the picture a refreshing look. But somehow I can never do bright cartoony characters D: I tried but failed xD
My fav couple of all is InuxKikyo *gets chase by tons of Kagome fans* Not a lot of people like them together I guess

Man, I really envy everyone's pencil shadings now. I can't seem to get the proper textures I want. I also find brown to be a very good color for this. It's a great way to liven up pencil works. The white areas are a bit smudgy, though. It's hard to keep them clean.

The white areas tend to be smudgy just because my hand likes to move all over across the picture and leave dirty traces on it xD *Slaps hand* lol

I usually put a small piece of paper between my hand and the drawing (although I got lazy and didn't do that for this piece xD), but it still smudges slightly. I wonder how those really awesome artists makes their white part on the pic so clean? o.O
