Heh, wonderful ideas! I like all the different animals (yay turtlehead!) and the sullen-looking Frog in the corner. The colored drawing is the best though--I really dig the bricks and shiny armor.

thank you! i tried to make him different animals, but my friend made a good point in that I shouldn't try to change his "character" just for hte sole purpose of redesigning him. Changing frog into a different animal would ultimately change his character right? hahah so thats why I just ended up keeping him as a frog, but i still had fun redesigning him as different animals! 
i worked on each character respectively from crono to magus. I think the closer i got to magus, the faster it became, but otherwise i would say each painting would take hours.. hahah magus took the shortest time. i think i'd say a good 8-10 hours maybe??? i worked on these painting with different sittings so i never nkow what the total time is. Except magus.. i spent i think just 6 hours straight or something maybe longer.. i cant remember XD..
