I hate to be so wide spread on your gallery and a bit annoying from my perspective, but do you have a certain brush kit that you are useing in photoshop, how do you get these textures and effects you do. if i may ask.

I'm using mostly Jaime Jones's brush set, he has some awesome textured ones.

Ah, fantastic i picked them up the second he submited them on his journal. i love his stuff, i still cant figure out how he does the stuff he does with lasso tool. amazing work.

How about trees? i see you had that really great brush that allows you to do far off brush and trees and stuff for your green mountainy pictures.

Really nice colors, and the stuff on the left side looks great for clouds.

My only nitpick is the lighting and shapes going on on the upper right-hand side in the foreground. I'd have fuzzied them up a bit and added in some more rounded elements. Couds tend to have balloony puufs when they're like this, and compared to that, there's something kinda odd going on with these.

Yeah, I still suck at shapes--I was getting too focused on the lighting, I still don't know how to structure cloud formations right.

Yeah that's something I'm sorta weak with too. Though I think sometimes I can get it, if only out of a mix of paying attention and being lucky. >_>

However, you got a nice collection of cloud brushes in the pile you've offered for upload at RN. Anything shaped like clouds is pretty much it. I found playing with pressure sensitive minimum diameter, opacities, sizes tend to make some decent clouds with them.

I did use my main cloud brush, which is good for blocking in forms but not great for fine detail stuff. I'm still figuring things out, this was mostly a lighting test--will work on getting proper shapes for today's study though.

Cool. I did particularly like the lighting, so I think you're headed in a nice direction. (I won't bother saying "right", I think there's a lot for me to still learn, and there's more than one right way to do clouds.)

Looks amazing, somethings.. a miss though.... I think its cause the clouds look to shiney like flesh, or theres not enough hard lines maybe.
