Response to:

Alma, though a little surprised at first, quickly went into mother mode. She snatched the two little wynglings up, wiped them clean with a towel, and set them down in a clear area. Still fussing some, she set a shiny ball down in front of them and the two quieted down. Ponder giggled with delight when the ball rolled after she touched it, and Kyakh watched it with interest.
Alma watched them fondly as they played, then clicked her tongue and went to clean up the pieces of egg shells lying around their hatch sites. Hopefully these two could entertain themselves for a while.

Here's a response to Aeb.'s picture. I had the idea for the frame thing around the drawing one night and decided to do it with this. I initially didn't like this picture much when I started it, but the more detail I put in the background and coloring, the more I grew to like it. Following after the events of the picture this is in response to, I figure the two wynglings get along swimmingly after some quality bonding with the bouncy ball!
