A piccy I made to promote the Cg-art class we are starting at our school in a few weeks, not the kiriban (sorry
;; School before DA for now). I used this to also make a tutorial of how I cg, step-by-step, in Powepoint. Um, I just noticed how flat my colors are, but ignoring that, hope you like it! C&C appreciated. <33

I don't think the colors are flat at all, they're quite eye-catching and the ones you've used are a nice combination. Your character is quite adorable as well. Very nice work, keep it up.

xD lol, actually it's only good compared to your other pics
even you need to be critiqued sometimes so here goes: It's a little too plastic-looking (shiny...kinda). Did you use the dodge + burn tools? Sorta looks like it. And not sure if you meant to do this but not outlining the paint splotches makes the perspective really weird. The girl's 2D while the palette's slightly 3D. The shorts are REALLY really 2D. >.>;; The colors brighter than usual O_O burns my eyes a bit... The proportions are a bit off. Her left leg is waaaaay too long. >w<;; and her fingers are not the right lengths (left - the one on the pallette). The arms seem detached somehow >.>;; something with the shoulders.
Only critiquing like crazy cause I know you don't want to hear "OMG!! AMAZING!!!" all the time ^^ and I know you understand I don't mean any offense. Besides, this is better than I could ever draw x3 just helping you improve
Oh and just a personal opinion: the colors really clash on the socks + shoes >.< *wince*

1) coloring~ I'm just trying a new style. I didn't use dodge or burn...tho I see where the pants are really flat.

they look bright to me though

maybe put like background color that's darker.. maybe that'll make your character brighter.. or darker shadow. if there is nice contrast the color looks brighter =3
