This is incredibly effective. I like the orange!
I just got a camera modified for IR, and it makes me wonder if I should try something with HDR as well, as it's supposed to be able to do those kinds of pics from one of the menu options.

I think from the bit in infrared feature you'll not be able to control the HDR effect, try using a software like Photomatix, it extends the possibilities of HDR render

Olivier, I'm not sure what it is about this photo.ย There are parts I like and parts I don't which is leaving me overall torn.ย The way the foliage came out orange is simply amazing.ย I REALLY like how it turned out.ย Also like the composition with the fountain in the center and the "window" you created with the foliage/trees taking your eye out to the tree and sky in the distance.
Not sure what HDR software you are using, but it is leaving terrible motion artifacts throughout the photo.ย Not entirely sure what you're ending up with straight out of camera (orange foliage wise), but you may want to look into doing some manual blending in some of the worst areas (i.e., the leaves that encroach on the fountain, the single branch on the left of the frame).ย Finally, the three large trees/bushes are just SO dark and I'm not entirely sure why?ย Is it the HDR processing?ย The lack of direct sunlight?ย You're getting such beautiful orange color out of the foliage it is such a shame that it is being left behind in these, in my mind, critical areas.ย Is there a way you could have fixed these areas?ย Maybe waited a few minutes for the sun to shine in on them?ย Re-shoot them on a different day with different weather conditions?

I'm gonna correct this
For the dark trees, it's normal and it's not the HDR processing : the different species of trees don't reflects the infrared the same way, and some are totally absorbing them (= dark)
But I'll be back there to shoot around this

Gotta watch out for that PWI, processing while intoxicated.ย Surprised to heard about the trees, I have yet to have run into a species that absorbs so much of the IR spectrum.ย Done right you could really have fun with those.ย Again keep up the good work!
