I love this work. The way the man made windmill fits in so well with the trees behind it is great. The purple gives it a wonderful ethereal feeling too. Beautiful!

hehe ok... i checked it it does resemble the drawing a bit. the colors are very good. oh yeah, the pic i used for the poem isn't mine, it was drawn by the guy who did the haibana renmei anime.

Ooooo. That's really good. Someone could read it as something good or bad. The first time I read it, I thought that the person was finally letting go (throwing hat off), but was trapped again because the wind blew the hat (imprisonment) back again. And the picture gives the poem an even more haunting feeling. I'd be interested in knowing what you meant the poem to mean.

wow thanks, i love your comment i wrote it for an activity in English class. I wasn't really sure about what i was trying to say when i was writing it, but i intended it to be a bit more on the positive side. it does have a lot to do with letting go/giving up on something and then being given a second chance (wind blows the hat back), but there's also a lot of frustration (what you said about being trapped again) at having to take that chance again. umm, well, ok, so the poem isn't that pointless...
